Chemical composition
Enamel VL-515 is a suspension of pigments in a solution of polyvinylbutyral and cresol-formaldehyde resins in a mixture of organic solvents.
Appointment
VL-515 is designed to cover the inner surface of metal tanks for storage, processing of gasoline of various grades, diesel fuel and toluene at a temperature of 18-23 ° C, ethylene chloride with an admixture of ethyl alcohol and sulfuric ether at 10 ° C, mineral oils, hot water with temperature 90-95 ° C.

Red-brown (tint is not standardized).
Distinctive features
Hot-drying coatings (drying at 120 ° C) are more resistant than cold-drying coatings.It is used as an independent coating, and in complex with a primer VL-02 for coating aluminum surfaces.Has an increased adhesion to the metal.The service life of the 3-layer coating is at least 3 years.
Mode of application
- It is applied to the degreased surface, previously cleaned from rust and old paint.
- It is applied to the surface by roller, brush, air and airless spraying.
- To dilute the VL-515 enamel to the working viscosity, use solvent P-60 or P-7.
- Dry according to the scheme of the technological process of painting the steel equipment.
- Approximate consumption of enamel is 100-120 g / m2.
