Acrylic dispersions have found wide application in construction, paper, automotive, leather, textile and many other industries.

Dispersions are prepared by the radical emulsion polymerization of acrylic monomers, such as alkyl acrylates, alkyl methacrylates, vinyl ethers, carboxylic acids, etc. in water in the presence of surfactants and predominantly water-soluble initiators. The products obtained are homogeneous liquids of white color with a content of non-volatile substances of 45-65% by weight, pH = 1.5-7.5, viscosity can be adjusted as required by the customer.

The adhesive compositions are prepared by adding a thickening agent and other desired additives to the dispersion of the copolymer. Dispersion-based adhesives are advantageously distinguished primarily by the absence of toxic organic solvents, which contributes to an increase in their consumption.
