lubrication of open gears working under very high flank pressures.Castrol Viscogen 0 and 4 do not contain any solvents.

Uses
- To lubricate and protect:
- Wire ropes
- Open gears of dredges, draglines and bucket wheel excavators
- Gears and slewing rings of cranes and shovels
- Gears on winches and crushers
- Reduction gears and adjusting screws on stamping presses
- Highly stressed open worm gears, rack and pinion sets
- Open gears on rotary cement kilns, ball and rod mills
Application
Before initial application, clean gear teeth of old residual lubricants. Apply Castrol Viscogen 4 to teeth with a spatula, hard brush or from our convenient caulk gun tube. Apply Castrol Viscogen 0 with grease gun, brush or use of a “slush” pan. It also has excellent spraying characteristics and has been tested in equipment of major machine manufacturers.
